The IXPE closed-cell foam is irradiated and cross-linked, making it superior in resisting aging and more dense, waterproof, and dust-proof. The insulated metallic film paired with the IXPE closed-cell foam traps heat and reflects it to your body, providing an R-Value of 2.1, making the El Cordion a leader in insulation for closed-cell foam pads.
